What do you mean - criminals don't get their guns...legally?

Yes friends, our dear overlords know that the criminals are a danger and don't follow laws - however they still find it easier to disarm those who aren't causing problems.
Do you ever wonder why the ATF finds it easier to crash into a gun collectors house at 2AM rather than invade a crack-house filled to the brim with gang members?
I'll just come out and say it...they don't want to get shot! Those that oppose private gun ownership know that:
1. The average law abiding citizen really does not want to pick a fight with the government - really we don't! We would like to resolve the erosion of our right peacefully - if the government will let us.
2. Gang member for the most part (I know - I used to have "friends" that were/became members) have lookouts that keep an eye out for LEOs, are sometimes better armed than most gun collectors (although they do not shoot nearly as well), and wont hesitate to open fire.
Still wonder why the various "alphabet" agencies (ATF, FBI etc.) and anti-gun folks would rather go after law abiding citizens? Here's the secret - the government and the agencies that would deprive citizens of the right to bear arms harbor cowardice. If they were not cowards they would actually go after those that are COMMITTING the crimes, not some gun collector who enjoys shooting a few rounds on the weekend.
Now, I'll take a step back and explain that not all LEOs, and members of the various agencies are cowards - they are not, but I would pray that those that do read these words realize that they should stop attacking the citizens who support them and start supporting the citizens whose taxes pay their salaries. Perhaps they should start actually going after those who really are a threat to them...the REAL criminals.
This is my opinion based on my observations and research...take it or leave it.

Just like the animal rights activists who break into med facilities or the the ss Greenpeacers that go after Norwegian whalers but don't even try to break up illegal dog fighting gangs. The gang bangers wouldn't show the restraint that med labs and whalers would. Picking the easy targets. Law abiding citizens. Again, remember the invaion of the Texas town.
