Duh HA Duh HA, Duh HA HA HA HA HA ! The original Articles of Confederation was a weak document because the Founders had first hand knowledge of an abusive powerful government (Britain), so they erred on the side a weak central government. In seeing that the Union could not survive in that way, they went back to the drawing board and made sure a strong central government needed at its core individual rights held inviolate. Interesting that the second ammendment is second, right after freedom of speech, press, and religion of the first ammendment,hmmm... How pesky, a people not afraid of their government. Those gun nuts! Oh how will they be controlled?
